CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE

At Bright Smiles, our number one priority has always been and always will be the safety and health of our patients and staff. COVID-19 or Coronavirus is a concern for everyone. We are now in the most critical phase of this pandemic. The United States now has THE MOST number of cases in the world. WE ALL NEED to do our part to FLATTEN THE CURVE!.

Even before the current pandemic, Bright Smiles was always prepared and practiced exceptional infection control everyday. There is never a good time to visit an Emergency Room. Now is definitely not a good time since the hospital system is overwhelmed and there are not enough resources to handle the spike in the number of cases. So its vitally important now more than ever to have a healthy mouth and a healthy body.

A lot of local dental offices have closed. To do our part in easing the burden on our hospital system, following the guidelines from CDC, ADA & GDA, we have made a decision to remain open for EMERGENCY dental care. Bright Smiles is currently treating patients with EMERGENCY & URGENT dental care needs ONLY. If we can reduce the number of cases ending up in the ER due to tooth ache, swelling, broken teeth etc … , we can free those ER health care champions for other and perhaps more serious emergency patients. We are here for you and ready to see you for any kind of dental emergency.

Given the current situation and to protect all of us, we have made crucial enhancements to our patient flow including reviewing nationally accepted COVID specific pre appointment questions, taking temperatures upon arrival, restricting building access to only patients, waiting in your car until we are ready for you, immediately sanitizing every touch point from the door to the operatory and much more.

All these extra precautions are for the safety and comfort of our patients and staff and most importantly to do our part in controlling the spread of this virus. Any kind of dental emergency or infection in your mouth can negatively impact your immune system. So its super important right now to be as healthy as possible. So please take care of yourself and get the care you need.
